222 Series Spherical Roller Bearings

222 series spherical roller bearings are double-row self-aligning bearings designed to accommodate heavy radial loads, moderate axial loads and shaft misalignment. Compared with wider 223 series bearings, the 222 series provides a more compact cross-section while maintaining excellent load carrying capability.

These bearings feature two rows of symmetrical barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical raceway in the outer ring. This design allows automatic compensation for shaft deflection and mounting errors, helping reduce edge stress and improve bearing service life.

Available cage designs include CC stamped steel cages and CA or MB machined brass cages. Optional configurations include W33 lubrication grooves, tapered bores (K), adapter sleeve mounting arrangements and customized dimensions for OEM equipment manufacturers.

222 series spherical roller bearings are widely used in industrial gearboxes, fans, pumps, conveyors, mining machinery, paper mills and cement equipment where reliable operation under heavy loads and challenging environments is required.
